One word: Perfect.

This is one of my favorite shows ( the other is Doctor Who).

Anyone who knows a little bit about this show knows that it follows the traditional tale of Camelot and Arthur. The only difference is that Merlin is younger and is in Camelot when magic is banned.

The show is everything. It has humor, action, adventure, romance, drama, and about everything you could want in a T.V show. It does a great job of blending all of these elements without one episode being boring. Yes, I mean it. Every episode is funny and amazing. When I watch it I get totally absorbed into the show and don't even think about anything else.

Merlin helps his Uncle Gais, as he is a physician, and becomes a servant to Arthur after saving his life. Basically, Merlin uses magic ALL THE TIME even though he's not supposed to. He's saved Arthur countless times and his other friends as well. There's more to tell but that would be a spoiler*. There are Dragons, Griffins, and other mythical creatures that they fight. There are also high priestesses, magic shields, and lots of other fantastical elements. Additionally, Merlin and Arthur's destiny is VERY important throughout the show as well.

Also, this show has a HUGE following on tumblr. If you type in merlin, merlin fandom, or even Colin Morgan you will find loads of gifs, fanart, quotes, graphic, and so much more. However, don't go to tumblr if you want to watch it but haven't watched it yet. It will ruin the ending of it because tumblr fans love making gifs of EVERYTHING, this means a gif for about every episode.

Back to the show. It simply much be watched. If you watch the first episode you'll get an idea and feel of the show. Towards the later seasons it gets darker but is still great.

Overall: I would recommend this show for anyone of any age. Since it is family oriented ANYONE can watch it and love it. I sure have. However, specifically those that love the Arthur Legend, fantasy, or medieval times, you will love this show.

The Up And Coming Movies I'm Looking Forward To

Here are just a few movies I hope I will be able to see soon with their trailers below. Also I will have a movie review for Beautiful Creatures and my favorite T.V show Pretty Little Liars Too.  Always remember you can comment as well!

Violet&Daisy

If you don't know Saoirse Ronan is one of my favorite actresses so I must see this movie.

The Way,Way Back

This looks incredibly interesting and funny. Also Annasophia Robb is in this movie and after seeing her in The Carrie Darries( do you guys want a review?) I think she's a pretty good actress so I want to see her in a different role.

Man of Steel

Christopher Nolan is a genius. The end.

Prisoners

This caught my eye immediately when I saw the trailer in theaters. Usually these kinds of movie scare me (The Lovely Bones was so scary especially since that same day I had to WALK home....through an empty grass field...yeah not cool) but I want to see how this plays out.

Kick-Ass 2

The first movie was good and I hope to see where the second movie goes.

Honorable Mentions

  • Johnny Depp in Lone Ranger
  • Jude Law in Side Effects

Are you guys looking forward to any movies?

Now You See Me

Sorry for being gone for so long, everyone. I've been busy with college things since I am a SENIOR now!Whoo!! Aside from that I haven't been to the movies or watched any online in ages, but I was able to this past Friday with my friends. I wanted to see Now You See Me when I first saw it as a preview in theaters but never really got around to seeing it. There are a lot more movie reviews that I have planned I just need to get around to posting them. But aside from all that I'm here to give you a movie review!

This movie was extremely clever and had some pretty interesting characters. I really enjoyed their performances and the "magic" really does capture your interest. It was funny, had a lot of adventure, and just kept me really mesmerized. Plot wise this movie delivered pretty well. The movie is mainly based around Lionel Shrike, their three performances, and The Eye.

The plot twist at the end was DEFINITELY something I did not even expect however at the end I was a little confused and after walking out of the theater then I finally understood it. The magic card fight scene, the bathroom tracking, and their second performance in New Orleans were really memorable from the movie. I wish the movie had more of a back story especially regarding the FBI Agent( if you've seen the movie you know what I mean). If the movie had more of a back story and "purpose" I would have rated it higher. Other than that the characters were interesting, the tricks were amazing, and it was really entertaining. To be honest you really have to watch the movie because everything is so intertwined with the other plots, but I would agree it is worth seeing.

Here are a few of my favorite scenes from the move:

*Overall: This movie is great for magic lover, those of you who love The Prestige and The Illusionist(will be doing reviews of those soon& I looove those two), or for those that want to see something really entertaining! I would put this on my list of a summer must-see!

**If you any of you saw the movie did you like it? Would you compare it to The Prestige? Does  this remind you of any movie? Always feel free to leave a comment!

This hands down has to be one of the best shows over. It's funny, emotional, has lots of action, and is clever in the idea of the story. It's funny and with the different personalities of the show it's always interesting. It is graphic in content and language a lot of times but the writing and characters make up for that.  Each of them have powers that relate to their personality. You have:

Nathan. He is the official unofficial leader and has the wildest personality. He is immortal, which definitely suits his personality since he lives recklessley.

Curtis. He used to be an athlete but blew it away and now has to do community service. He has the power to go back in time because he wishes he wouldn't have gotten in trouble with the law.

Simon. He is very quiet and lives a humble life with his parents. He can turn invisible because nobody ever pays attention to him.

Kelly. She is a chav( I do not know exactly what that means.) She is fiery person and can read peoples mind. It's mainly because she's a chav she wonders what people think about her most likely.

Alisha. She is more the womanizer and her power includes people lusting for her.She "gets around" which is why her power is a bit perfect for her.

The show.. you just have to watch it because it's that great. The only reason I give it .2 points off is because Robert Sheenan left.

Overall: Watch it. Everyone excluding young children. Just watch it. Go and watch. It's that great.

Wild About Movies

Wild About Movies

This is also a great resource for those that want those movie screenings! They have a list of the current movies and all you have to do is click grab passes to see if your city is listed. If so you can go and see the movie before it hits theaters!

If you don't see your city you can click the CLICK HERE sign to RSVP for your city. It's a pretty decent website. I do not like all the ads on the page and they don't have Atlanta that often, however they have a lot of movies and cities that are all around the US. I even got tickets for Cloud Atlas but it's rated R so I couldn't go.

However check this site out.
