Now You See Me

Sorry for being gone for so long, everyone. I've been busy with college things since I am a SENIOR now!Whoo!! Aside from that I haven't been to the movies or watched any online in ages, but I was able to this past Friday with my friends. I wanted to see Now You See Me when I first saw it as a preview in theaters but never really got around to seeing it. There are a lot more movie reviews that I have planned I just need to get around to posting them. But aside from all that I'm here to give you a movie review!

This movie was extremely clever and had some pretty interesting characters. I really enjoyed their performances and the "magic" really does capture your interest. It was funny, had a lot of adventure, and just kept me really mesmerized. Plot wise this movie delivered pretty well. The movie is mainly based around Lionel Shrike, their three performances, and The Eye.

The plot twist at the end was DEFINITELY something I did not even expect however at the end I was a little confused and after walking out of the theater then I finally understood it. The magic card fight scene, the bathroom tracking, and their second performance in New Orleans were really memorable from the movie. I wish the movie had more of a back story especially regarding the FBI Agent( if you've seen the movie you know what I mean). If the movie had more of a back story and "purpose" I would have rated it higher. Other than that the characters were interesting, the tricks were amazing, and it was really entertaining. To be honest you really have to watch the movie because everything is so intertwined with the other plots, but I would agree it is worth seeing.

Here are a few of my favorite scenes from the move:

*Overall: This movie is great for magic lover, those of you who love The Prestige and The Illusionist(will be doing reviews of those soon& I looove those two), or for those that want to see something really entertaining! I would put this on my list of a summer must-see!

**If you any of you saw the movie did you like it? Would you compare it to The Prestige? Does  this remind you of any movie? Always feel free to leave a comment!
